About the Project

Vozes de Cabo Verde was born with the mission of preserving and sharing the richness of Cape Verdean music. Each musician, each chord, forms part of the identity and soul of the islands.

Here we bring together video biographies so that music lovers — in Cabo Verde and beyond — can discover, learn, and be moved by this cultural heritage.

Vision

To be a digital reference platform in the promotion of Cape Verdean music, accessible worldwide, helping keep alive the memory of the artists who marked eras and inspired generations.
